2.3.99-pre9: scsi DC390T not working

Hi there, I have a machine (unfortunately 1100 km away from here and
with no network connection) that panics at boot right after
initializing the DC390T scsi controller. In a sudden moment of genius
I remembered that there is another driver for that card (AM53C974) and
with that one I could happily boot and run.

I'm sorry I can't provide you with any more information. What I'm doing now
is calling for you who have a DC390T card to try and use the suspect
driver and see if you have the same problem.
