Parport ZIP (imm) not working in 2.4.0-test1-ac22-riel

I haven't tried using my ZIP drive in a while, so I have no clue how far
back this "bug" goes, but here's the lowdown: Under kernel 2.2.16, my
newer-model Parallel Port Zip drive works fine, using the imm module and
mounting /dev/sda4 to /mnt/zip. However, under 2.4.0-test1-ac22-riel, on
the exact same system/setup (5 minutes after trying successfully with
2.2.16), the system won't let me access /dev/sda4 or /dev/sda1 with a disk
in there. Here's what happens:

(~)$ mount /mnt/zip
parport0: irq 7 detected
imm: Version 2.03 (for Linux 2.0.0)
imm: Found device at ID 6, Attempting to use EPP 32 bit
imm: Found device at ID 6, Attempting to use PS/2
imm: Communication established with ID 6 using PS/2
scsi0 : Iomega VPI2 (imm) interface
scsi : 1 host.
Vendor: IOMEGA Model: ZIP 100 Rev: P.04
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02
mount: /dev/sda4 has wrong major or minor number

Mind you, the exact same procedure works fine under 2.2.16.
