from what I can tell from lkml posts, the AIC7XXX SCSI drivers are
broken in the 2.2.16/2.2.17prex tree.
I have several systems with this scsi controller as well, but i'm only
updating kernels in my IDE based system until I hear the AIC7XXX driver
is working again.
