2.4.0-test1-ac15: Virtual Console problems

It looks as if <alt>F1..6 always does a full video mode switch in
2.4.0-test1-ac15. 2.2.14 doesn't seem to do this, making it _much_
faster.

Also, the "vga=" doesn't seem to work anymore (compared to 2.2.14)
I used to have a vga=0x307 in /etc/lilo.conf.

VGA: Voodoo 3000.
