I got this Oops with 2.3.99-pre7-9 (also got the same oops with -pre6).
I got it while booted up in single user mode, moving my system from one
drive to another. I was using dump (0.4b) to dump to standard out and
restore to the new location. It appeared to happen when the /dev
directory was hit. I recompiled the kernel without DRM and it worked
fine.
