I just had a PC reset itself trying pppd with 2.2.15. for the first
time. Retrying I got a segfault report and and OOPS on the screen.
After looking at the OOPS I have tried again and it reset again, so
this is fairly repeatable, but not 100%.
I should perhapse say this is with an LTmodem, so the binary distributed
driver module is always suspect.
This is on a AMD-K6(tm) 3D with vanila Slackware 7.0 pppd version 2.3
