Not always:

I have SOYO BA+IV with HTP366 and Quantum Fireball lct10 15, and it locks on
startup with 2.3.99pre5. With 2.2.14 it works only without DMA, with
ide2=0xd400... kernel params workaround on startup...

I posted several e-mails, without success, this is the first time I see some
more postings about problems HPT366..
