Since going from 2.2.10 to 2.2.15, I am getting this message every few seconds

May 7 15:09:13 oboe kernel: eth0: Sending a multicast list set command from
 a timer routine.
May 7 15:10:13 oboe last message repeated 4 times
May 7 15:11:17 oboe last message repeated 5 times

I presume someone is hacking eepro100?

May 7 20:31:15 oboe kernel: i2c: driver registered: tuner
  May 7 20:31:15 oboe kernel: eepro100.c: $Revision: 1.20.2.3 $ 2000/03/02
Modified by Andrey V. Savochkin <saw@saw.sw.com.sg> and others
May 7 20:31:15 oboe kernel: Found Intel i82557 PCI Speedo at I/O 0xc88a5000, IRQ 11.
May 7 20:31:15 oboe kernel: PCI latency timer (CFLT) is 0x40.

I can't swear this appears first in 2.2.15, since I don't use the 2.2.*
series on my own machine normally. But I have on occasion booted 2.2.10
and not noticed this message. I would have noticed the message at this
frequency. No, wait, I can confirm that the message does not appear in 2.2.10:

May 6 20:55:33 oboe kernel: i2c: driver registered: tuner
May 6 20:55:33 oboe kernel: Found Intel i82557 PCI Speedo at I/O 0xe800, IRQ 11.
May 6 20:55:33 oboe kernel: PCI latency timer (CFLT) is 0x40.
  May 6 20:55:33 oboe kernel: eepro100.c:v1.06 10/16/98 Donald Becker
  http://cesdis.gsfc.nasa.gov/linux/drivers/eepro100.html

(that eepro100 driver might well not be the 2.2.10 original). There are no
log entries for the message above with 2.2.10.
