I will have to check but the switched net has a lot of traffic, but I
don't think that is it.

Probably more because the interface that I use on the switched side is
activly pulling a full news feed. I might be able to stop it for a few
minutes to test it, but I would bet the bank that the newsfeed is taxing
that switched interface.. :(
