AWE64 PNP Not Being Found in 2.3.51

I have an Awe64 Gold and its stopped being found on 2.3.51
when I insmod isa-pnp it finds it ok
but when I run
modprobe sb
or
modprobe sb irq=5
like I have with all the other kernels
it says it can't find any PNP cards..
Did it break someplace?
