Hi,
are there any informations about benchmarks for the current
developer-version of linux?
I heard of following problems relating linux2.2.x :
select() and poll() have difficulties with many filedescriptors, select
was going to slow down the whole system...
There was a process limit (512/1024 processes?) which decreased system
performance at high load..
With many ethernet-cards the system had problems with interrupts, so
transfer rate didn't grow any further...
Is there any information about these things for the latest
developer-kernel??
