Running 2.2.14 or 2.2.15pre20 or 2.3.99-pre6(-7) on a k6-2:

Under kernel 2.2.14, all the shells I have (bash 1.14, bash
2.04, tcsh, ksh, zsh) work in a serial terminal, as well as
through ssh and telnet.

Changing kernels to 2.2.15pre20 or 2.3.99-pre6(-7),
everything works except bash2 on a serial terminal. Commands
typed at bash2 do not appear to be executed. Hitting
Control-C brings the shell prompt back. Bash2 works if
invoked with the --noediting option.

The serial terminals are on a Cyclades 8Zo 8-port serial
board.

I suppose it's a bash problem, but wonder how the newer
kernels might have found it.
