Hi Folks,

I just started my usual shm tests on my 8GB machine, which went
flawlessly between 99-pre2 and pre5.

With 99-pre6 I get from vmstat 5:
12 0 0 0 1200360 1616 11656 0 0 0 0 115 50928 2 97 0
10 2 0 0 191556 1616 11656 0 0 0 0 113 64390 3 96 1
 9 3 0 128 1456416 1616 11784 0 26 0 6 124 51772 3 96 1
10 2 0 128 242908 1684 11784 0 0 3 0 115 73555 2 96 2
 9 4 1 4140 641900 372 15696 0 3052 1 764 479 35365 1 96 3
10 2 0 4040 495268 512 15740 0 0 9 2 169 86654 4 90 6
 8 4 0 4040 273416 512 15740 0 0 0 1 107 73069 3 86 11
 7 5 0 4040 701308 512 15740 0 0 0 0 108 89892 3 87 9
 7 5 0 4040 1027488 512 15740 0 0 0 0 116 75272 3 94 3
 7 6 1 15012 2608 524 26708 0 2335 1 587 524 79628 1 95 3
procs memory swap io system cpu
r b w swpd free buff cache si so bi bo in cs us sy id

And then it hangs. Sysrq is still working, everything else is dead
(including ping).

Greetings
                Christoph
