After the Oops, I hit <Alt><SysReq>s (got a Done), <Alt><SysReq>u (got a
done), then <Alt><SysReq>b

Although the screen told me the filesystems were remounted RO, they were
not cleanly unmounted on bootup (as evidenced by about 200 or so 0 dtime
inodes).

Not sure I can offer much more at this point.
