Can kernel notify an user-space process to do something with kernel?

  I have met a great problem: I define an array in the kernel space and when overflowed the kernel process will waiting and notify an user-space process which will distract the infomation stored in the array and then reset the array and then tell the kernel process to go on.

 How can I achieve my task?
