Is it possible to install a unknown instruction handler? Is it worth it?

Problem is though that nexgens with CPUID instruction ain't telling it to
the world using the CPUID feature flag :-} Not very smart - I agree,
but workaround exists. Any reasons not to work around this bug? Would it
cause something else not to work, or?
