Both image files are on ext2 filesystems, as are the directories that they
get mounted on; the devices are IDE hard drives hanging off a ALi Aladdin V
controller running in non-DMA mode. As expected, no problems occur doing the
same thing under 2.2.14; I haven't tried previous 2.3.x kernels yet.
