Thanks very much for the fix -- and your time, Dave. I walked in on
the blue screen this morning, so I guess it took me a little longer to
get to the same place. I had made it through more than 5000
iterations (2x2500) of 1000d.f on my dual processor.

Obviously something worked well for me, or I wouldn't bother. My
successes have been with SpecFP95 and with the LINPACK large array and
matrix benchmark 1000d.f. Now I'll try kernel builds.
