[STOP IT] procfs stuff

Folks, could we *please* stop this "discussion"?
You are discussing the presentation before the code is cleaned up enough
to see what we _have_ there. Until we'll have a clean picture of the
things that _are_ needed there is NO point in inventing majestic
mechanisms which, incidentially, reek with certain TLA VBC. And that's not
a good sign, considering the usual taste of said VBC - just look at AIX.
Just stop it. It would make some sense if we had a list of the stuff done
through the current mechanisms, along with the list of oddballs (like
mtrr). Until then - sorry, it's pointless.
If somebody is willing to provide a survey of the stuff that
currently is available through procfs - you are welcome. It _will_ take
some work, though. And quite a bit of grepping through the tree. However,
it _must_ be done before we will be able to do something with procfs
layout. Inventing "generic" mechanisms before you get an idea of what are
they going to be used for is an exercise in masturbation.
