Bullshit.
Specialix supports its full range of serial cards on Linux. As a
matter of fact, I'm the one doing that support, so I should know.
The official route that you should follow is to ask
"support@specialix.co.uk". They should help you with the "is the
cable attached?" types of problems. When that fails, your problem gets
forwarded to me.

So, what are the erorr messages? What SX card do you have? How many
TAs do you have attached? Can you insmod the driver with
"sx_debug=-1", try sx_firmware and send me the log?
