For some odd reason my Compaq 1670 locks when initializing (apmd) with
2.3.99p3. Any suggestions on where to look? It also does not reboot when
APM is not compiled into the kernel... it stops at the Power Down
message and fails to reboot. Pointers on helping to debug this would be
appreciated... both work under 2.2.x.
