Hi.
Apologies if this has been posted already.
After about 10 minutes of using my sound, it stops working.
My card as reported by the kernel:
Mar 27 14:15:09 mct12 kernel: ad1848/cs4248 codec driver Copyright (C) by

Savolainen 1993-1996

Mar 27 14:15:09 mct12 kernel: <MS Sound System (CS4231)> at 0x534 irq 5
dma 0,1
After a bit of use (10-20 minutes xmms etc) I get a lot of these error
messages whenever I try to play anything:
Mar 27 15:38:30 mct12 kernel: Sound: DMA (output) timed out - IRQ/DRQ
config error?

etc etc
All the sound drivers are modules...

Any suggestions? More info can be provided if required.
Once this has happened I can't remove any of the sound modules (they're
all in use) and a reboot is the only recourse. This all worked fine in
2.2.x
I can provide my .config or System.map if requested...
On another note I've already seen discussed here...
[tim@mct12 ~]$ asdf
asdf: Command not found.
[tim@mct12 ~]$ ipne
/usr/sbin/ipne: Permission denied.
[tim@mct12 ~]$ ls -la /usr/sbin/ip*
ls: No match.
Some things report Permission denied, others report correctly not found.
Thanks,
