I patched my kernel with elevator-starvation-7.bz2. Result:

/lib/modules/2.2.15pre15/scsi/sd_mod.o: unresolved symbol blkelv_ioctl
scsi_mod: Device or resource busy
insmod: /lib/modules/2.2.15pre15/scsi/sd_mod.o: unresolved symbol blkelv_ioctl
/dev/sda1: No such device
Some of the RAID devices have errors:
  Checking "*":
Couldn't open /etc/raid/*.conf -- No such file or directory
ckraid: aborted
insmod: /lib/modules/2.2.15pre15/scsi/sd_mod.o: unresolved symbol blkelv_ioctl
/dev/sda1: No such device
  WARNING: unrecovered RAID errors!

[etc etc]

Looks like blkelv_ioctl should be in the ksyms export list

Mike.
