Are you talking about 2.3.49-pre2 kernel? If so, does 2.2.15pre12 show
the same behavior?

Since it works for me you are going to have to furnish a detailed bug
report, preferably CC'ing the maintainer listed (ie.: me). Please read
REPORTING-BUGS.
