2.3.48, SMP, AIC-7890, NCR 53c810a (using sym53c8xx driver),
CD-ROMs Toshiba XM-3501TA and Toshiba XM-6201TA attached
to 53c810a. Whenever I try to use xmdc to play an audio CD
in XM-3501TA all I get is a lot of SCSI bus resets:

Feb 28 21:10:26 lech kernel: scsi : aborting command due to timeout : pid 0, scsi1, channel 0, id 5, lun 0 Inquiry 00 00 00 24 00
Feb 28 21:10:26 lech kernel: sym53c8xx_abort: pid=0 serial_number=163480 serial_number_at_timeout=163480
Feb 28 21:10:27 lech kernel: SCSI host 1 abort (pid 0) timed out - resetting
Feb 28 21:10:27 lech kernel: SCSI bus is being reset for host 1 channel 0.
Feb 28 21:10:27 lech kernel: sym53c8xx_reset: pid=0 reset_flags=2 serial_number=163480 serial_number_at_timeout=163480

Feb 28 21:10:51 lech kernel: SCSI host 1 abort (pid 0) timed out - resetting
Feb 28 21:10:51 lech kernel: SCSI bus is being reset for host 1 channel 0.
Feb 28 21:10:51 lech kernel: sym53c8xx_reset: pid=0 reset_flags=2 serial_number=163521 serial_number_at_timeout=163521
Feb 28 21:11:03 lech kernel: SCSI host 1 abort (pid 0) timed out - resetting
Feb 28 21:11:03 lech kernel: SCSI bus is being reset for host 1 channel 0.
Feb 28 21:11:03 lech kernel: sym53c8xx_reset: pid=0 reset_flags=2 serial_number=163580 serial_number_at_timeout=163580

With 2.3.48pre2 there's no resets but xmcd keeps saying "cd busy"
and never plays a sound.
With 2.3.47pre3 all seems to work fine. 2.3.49pre1 - just like 2.3.48.
