(Maybe OT) Garbage, sewage, noise and this list

To all:

I subscribed here because I am a network admin who likes to keep up with
what's going on with my favorite OS and maybe learn a thing or two that
would benefit myself and the company I work for
Lately I have been seeing a lot of garbage such as the message below.

At the risk of sounding like Rodney King, can we get past this tripe and get
on with what this list is supposed to be for?
